8 Simple Ways to Reform Your Health

HealthcareAlthough the agenda for health in the United States captured the most titles, the same problems in other countries. The main challenge remains in May of services needed for an aging population with a lower salary base.

In Australia, a review of the tax system has been completed and the report of the third generation will be approved soon. This is reflected in the projections for the next generation.

A fragment of the charge caught my attention. She argues that the per capita cost of pharmaceuticals in Germany, twenty years from about $ 200 per capita, has more than tripled to $ 600, while it remained unchanged during the last twenty years. This was attributed to the development of “success” of the drug.

The cost of medicines in Australia is much lower than the United States through a system called the Pharmaceutical Benefits Scheme, which means in simple terms that the government “only” buyer of drugs that are listed in the system. Where the most money?

By far the largest budget, reduce cholesterol (statins), which accounted for AUD $ 1 billion in fiscal year 2008/09. Other Biggles reflux medication to thin the blood and were approximately 200 million dollars and an anti-depressant in U.S. $ 100 million.

The next question is what we get for our money? Life expectancy has continued to be phased in over the last century by about one quarter of each year. The rate has not accelerated over the last twenty years. Rates of heart disease and reflux has not collapsed yet.

Given the amount spent on drugs might think that questions have been raised about the benefits. It seems quiet on this front.

Throughout the reform program of health, there are always discussions about how to pay costs of the disease. Not questions about how to reduce spending on the disease to healthy people …. If you look at the “conditions” for more expensive drugs, especially those living conditions and once coined the term “risk” offer.

What we need is a change of perspective for health care. Our systems are systems existing disease. The cost comes from the treatment of diseases. There is little or no support for investment in people and in good health. A true system of health care should try to keep people healthy, rather than picking up the pieces after they fall ill.

As individuals, we are responsible. Approximately three quarters of the cost of illness of the disease, which is not a random act, but every day through our actions. We must take responsibility for their own health. Here are eight simple tips

1). Every morning there is a little slow, deep breathing
2). Make water your main beverage
Manger 3) food, which until recently was growing somewhere, you can move or
4). Be active every day
5). Take the right amount of sleep, eight hours for most people
6). Stress
7). have good relations
8). Have fun and meaning in your life

All this is easy and inexpensive. All that is required is that you do.
